Have you checked out the DesignLife website recently?  You can find a quick introduction into all the fun things you can do as a Purdue engineer and the wide variety of opportunities available to Boilermakers.  Here's a list of the "Top 10 Reasons to Love Purdue" from the DesignLife website:

10. Five-star Dining (well, almost) — Ranked 14th in the nation — so good you’ll think your mother made it
9. Nearly 1,000 Student Organizations — We dare you to claim there’s not a club for you
8. A-list Entertainment  We’ll bring the big names to you. Recent faves have included Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Blue Man Group
7. Grand Prix — They don’t call it the greatest spectacle in college racing for nothing
6. Study Abroad — 300+ options in 54 countries (some just for engineers!)
5. Big Ten Sports — Come see why Purdue’s fans are like none other
4. Boiler Gold Rush (we call it BGR)  — Our weeklong orientation program may literally be the best week of your life
3. Fountain Runs — It’s like running through a sprinkler, only way better (and wetter)
2. World-renowned Faculty — Our top minds teach undergrad classes
1. Vibrant, Diverse Student Body — With over 30,000 students representing 127 countries, you’re bound to find your new BFF
Hopefully these reasons help show you just some of the amazing things you can enjoy as a Purdue Boilermaker.  Choosing to attend Purdue is the most powerful life choice I've made so far... over the past four years, I've done everything from experiencing Boiler Gold Rush (both as a new student and as a Team Leader), participating in Residence Hall Student Government, playing in intramural sports, serving as a Mechanical Engineering Ambassador, completing undergraduate biomechanics research, studying abroad in Shanghai and working in the Women in Engineering Program.  Purdue has been a wild ride and the fun won't stop after graduation... that's when you can join the Purdue Alumni Boilermaker Family!
